The Open Road concert series in Downtown Abilene offers music from some of the best in the Americana and roots rock music scenes.
“You can look down south or you can turn back home, and there's a wide open road.
Johnny Cash

Proceeds from the concerts benefit the Community Foundation of Abilene — for the purpose of granting money to downtown initiatives — and Future Fund, an endowment fund of the Community Foundation which provides funding to local organizations serving children and youth.
